I had apointment for oil change at 10am, they said it would take 1 hour. I went to check on my vehicle at 1pm and they hadnt even started yet. Anyway it finally got done around 2:45 and completely messed up my Saturday. Also wanted to do it in the morning before the rain that after noon cause I just had it detailed but had to drive it home in the rain shower at 4pm. People were super nice just not real Effecient, Im not sure if thats planning or just super busy that day. Also i left three voicemails as I tried to call to schedule the service with no return call, I had to schedule it online. Thanks Cody 704-579-1502
My new 2021 Tahoe has been in the service dept 2 times for water issues. The first visit wasn't great, but they did make it right eventually. It took 10 days to get an appointment. Basically, I was under the impression I was supposed to have a loaner while my car was being serviced. After several hours they found a car for me. The communication after my car was there for 5 days, was zero, so I received no updates about the length of time my car would be there or what the problem was, until it was ready for pick up 5 days later. As soon as I drove home, the water was back in my car the next day. I got back into the service dept. 5 days later, and they had and a very nice car waiting for me immediately, and were VERY pleasant. My car was there 7 days, still no communication during the 7 days, but appears the problem is fixed, however, its only been 4 days.. Hoping issue is resolved... The second visit made up for the first (not so great visit)
With covid and limited staff, the scheduling took a little while. But I finally gave up with the phone, scheduled online, and it was simple. Dropped the truck off at the scheduled time, and everything was great from there
I spent 5 hours waiting for an oil change and tire rotation. I had two other things that needed to be looked at. Neither detected an error. I had to ask the person who was in charge of my car what the problem was after 3 in a half hours. Completely ridiculous. If you need the name of the person, please contact me. I will be contacting management. I bought my last 2 SUVs at Hendrick. This will probably be the last. I will also not be endorsing Hendrick to people I know. Im in education, and word of mouth goes a long way.
As far as being a VIP Customer Ive never been so aggravated with the service I got. I brought my car in to get an oil change and state inspection done. While I was there getting checked in I asked the service writer if they could change out the batteries in my key fob, because they were dead. He went on to say no we cant do that today. It takes 30 seconds...but yet that cant be done while my car is in for service?? So I proceeded to purchase the 2 batteries from the parts department and the gentleman there asked me if I would like for him to change them out for me...I told him about my experience with the service writer and he apologized. Very disappointed with the level of service I got from the service writer
I had an appointment at 11:30 for a state inspection. It took 2 hours. When I arrived, I was told they were running behind and it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait. I checked back with the desk after over an hour and they said it would be at least another 20 minutes. 2 hours seems too long to me when I had an appointment. On my previous visit for an oil change, with a scheduled appointment, I also waited about 2 hours. Is this timing normal for your service department?
Michael Lasiter (our salesperson) did an excellent job. He helped us find the vehicle that met our needs, addressed our questions and concerns and made us comfortable with our decision to purchase a vehicle at this dealership. Good job Michael. Thank you.
